Dino d’Santiago “Abordo” mini tour
June 6th – 10th
The first month of summer begins with the Dino Santiago mini tour “Abordo”. This tour is going to be held in the Faro islands of Culatra, Hangares, Farol, and Deserta, and it will end with a final concert at Teatro das Figuras in Faro.
Concerts on the islands start at 19:00 and boat timetables will be reinforced. The final concert will take place on Saturday, June 10, at 21:30.
Dino d’Santiago was born in Quarteira and is a leading figure in today’s Portuguese music scene, mixing the Cape Verdean tradition with contemporary global electronic music.

Vilamoura Boat Show
June 10th – 18th
Between June 10th and 18th, Vilamoura is going to hold the Vilamoura Boat Show, an outdoor display of boats, which brings together all types – new and semi-new – representatives of brands of accessories, equipment, and integrated services, guaranteeing customized service. Entry is free.

Popular Saint’s Festivals
June 12th, 24th and 30th
The month of June is not the same without the famous Popular Saints’ Festivals. Ferreiras, part of Albufeira’s municipality, is going to celebrate the emblematic Portuguese festivals at Largo de Ferreiras. On June 12th Saint Anthony is going to be celebrated, on June 24th Saint John, and on June 30th Saint Peter.

French movie of the month – “Eugénia Grandet”

Vacations in the Algarve can also mean French cinema. The Solar da Música Nova Auditorium in Loulé is going to broadcast the French movie “Eugénia Grandet” by Marc Dugain. The entry is free, upon request on the local ticket office or the online platform, BOL.

António Raminhos – “It’s not me… it’s my head” (In Portuguese)

Loulé will also host a performance by humourist António Raminhos on June 17. Raminhos presents his new project “It’s not me.. it’s my head” based on his experience dealing with OCD, a self-help show mixed with humor.
The performance is going to take place at Cineteatro Louletano and each ticket costs 15€. More information here.
Adriana Calcanhoto Concert – Errante

On June 23rd, Teatro das Figuras in Faro is going to welcome the Brazilian icon Adriana Calcanhoto. The artist had its debut in the ’90s and released hits like “Vambora”, “Devolva-me” and “Esquadros”. Calcanhoto is coming to Portugal to present her 13th album “Errante”. Tickets from €27.50. Med Festival
June 29th – July 2nd
The month ends with Med Festival, a music festival that, since 2004, gathers international artists, gastronomy, plastic arts, street entertainment, handicraft, dance, theater, cinema, poetry and workshops. The main goal is clear – promoting union and tolerance. Check the program here.
