We strive daily to uphold the principles of sustainability in our tourism ventures. Here’s how:

  • We work to protect the environment, combat climate change, and preserve biodiversity;
  • We value people by respecting human and workers’ rights, promoting safety, inclusion, and combating discrimination;
  • We are transparent and committed to preventing all forms of corruption;
  • We collaborate with local suppliers who adopt sustainable practices and promote conscious production;
  • We cherish local traditions and aim to provide experiences that respect the communities we are part of, delivering quality while encouraging sustainable practices;
  • We fulfil our global role by adhering to ESG principles (Environmental, Social, and Governance), tourism and sustainability policies, as well as national and international standards, aligning our practices with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and responsible tourism.

HELP US IN OUR MISSION

Your support plays a crucial role in helping us achieve our sustainability goals.
Find out how you can contribute to our mission during your stay:

We have developed a towel and linen change policy to avoid the unnecessary use of resources. We kindly ask for your cooperation:

  • If your towel is clean, please do not place it on the floor, hang it on the towel rail to reuse it;
  • Please let us know if you require a linen change. Beds are changed upon request.

Did you know that the Algarve is facing significant challenges due to the extreme drought affecting the region? We are doing our part by adopting measures that allow us to better manage this vital resource. Here’s how you can help:

  • Opt for quick showers and turn off the tap while lathering your body and hair;
  • Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth or washing your hands;
  • Reuse the towels from your room and the pool;
  • If you notice a leaking tap or shower, please let us know.

Our goal is to promote the reduction of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), without compromising the comfort of our guests. We count on your support:

  • Please avoid leaving the room key in the energy saver to prevent unnecessary energy use;
  • Turn off devices when not in use (chargers, television, air conditioning, etc.);
  • The room temperature is set to 22ºC. For optimal air conditioning performance, avoid extreme temperatures (max. 24ºC – min. 20ºC);
  • Ensure the window is closed when using the air conditioning (the system will turn off automatically if not);
  • Switch off the lights in rooms you’re not using.

We strive to play an active role in preserving biodiversity by prioritising native species in our gardens. Here’s how you can be part of it:

  • Always take your litter with you when going on an excursion or walk;
  • Do not take stones or shells from natural areas you visit;
  • Respect the fauna and flora of the Algarve;
  • Stick to marked trails and paths;
  • Do not light fires in unauthorised areas;
  • Help preserve the peace and green spaces.

We prioritise sharing, reusing, repairing, renewing, and recycling materials and products. We count on your help:

  • Avoid generating waste;
  • Prevent food waste;
  • Place waste in the appropriate container;
  • If you have any electrical or electronic device that is broken, please notify the reception;
  • If you wish to make donations (books, umbrellas, toys, etc.), please inform the reception.

We offer our guests the option to skip daily room cleaning during their stay as part of our sustainability plan. You can make your choice either right after check-in or using the signs available on the door or inside the room.
