Farcume – Faro International Short Film Festival is back in town! After the success of the last 11 editions, FARO 1540 – Association for the Defense and Promotion of Environmental and Cultural Heritage of Faro, decided to organize the 12th edition of this Short Film Festival that will take place on September 23, 24 and 25, 2022.
This 12th edition of FARCUME aims to exhibit and promote works in the short film section up to a maximum of 18 minutes in duration, divided into three categories – Animation, Documentary and Fiction.
This time under the motto “21 years later the cinema returns to downtown”, the event will take place at the CCH – Cultural & Conference Hub of the 3HB Faro hotel.
3HB Faro – built in the middle of downtown Faro, in an iconic place that was related to the former Cine-Teatro de Santo António, later with the Cinema de Santo António and, more recently, with the Atrium shopping center, which in addition to other commercial spaces also had movie theaters – is very proud to be the stage of this 12th edition of FARCUME!
