In the month that marks the start of summer, Algarve is getting ready to have the best season of the last two years, with the return of popular parties and festivals that will brighten the long days and nights From concerts to beach parties, discover this month’s programming.
Two great shows by two great national musicians, will happen on the 9th july. Ana Bacalhau, the vocalist of the famous band ‘Os Deolinda’, performs in Lagos, at the Cultural Centre. On the 17th, Farowelcomes another Portuguese music star – BRANKO. The internationally renowned DJ, producer and songwriter, performs at Teatro das Figuras and will make the audience vibe along to his unique sound and beats. For more information on the show, click here.
On June 18th the Black & White Party makes its return. After a two-year interruption, the streets of the small town of Carvoeirowill be once again filled with people and animation for the first big party of the year, that celebrates the beginning of summer. Saudade – the word that gave the motto for the 2022 edition of the Festival Pé na Terra that returns to Fuseta, more vibrant than ever. This unique event promotes interculturality and the return to our roots through sports, traditional dances and music. The festival which will happen during the weekend from the 17th to the 19th June, presents a complete programme that focused on families with children. For more information on the event, click here. Still on the wave of festivals, MED Festival will also return to Louléand to its original format – from June 30 to July 3rd. The World Music event inspired by Mediterranean culture, transforms Loulé’s historical centre every year in a parade of artistic manifestations and cultural fusions.
