The Açoteia – Faro Rooftop Festival, organized by the Municipality of Faro, returned to the city on July 7 and 8 after its first edition in 2019.
Faro will be the scene of a festival that brings together, in 35 açoteias scattered throughout the city, concerts of names such as Tiago Nacarato, Tatanka, Milhanas, and Viviane, but also exhibitions, theater, and conversations.
On one side, the sea, on the other, the ‘ria’. Ria Formosa is the most important wetland on the south of Portugal, protected area since 1987 is a privileged habitat for the fauna and flora and has become a place of great interest for tourists.
The first month of summer begins with the Dino Santiago mini tour “Abordo”. This tour is going to be held in the Faro islands of Culatra, Hangares, Farol, and Deserta, and it will end with a final concert at Teatro das Figuras in Faro.
